Learn French in Nice with the Alliance Française, a top school in a city where life is good

Many people from all over the world come to Nice every year to learn French.

Nice is the administrative center for the Alpes Maritimes department and the second biggest city of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. On the Mediterranean Sea, not far from the Italian border, nestled between mountains and sea, Nice is the business and cultural centre of the Riviera. When the Alliance Française was established in 1884, Nice was already a tourist destination with its famous Promenade des Anglais, Mediterranean climate, the villas and hotels built by its foreign visitors for their stay in Nice.

Nice is just as attractive today. While learning French in Nice, students will be able to enjoy outdoor activities and many entertainment options.

Here is what a few of our students who are learning French in Nice have to say:

Nice is on the coast and benefits from a Mediterranean climate. After class, I usually go for a walk along the sea side. The views are amazing! For all these reasons, Nice is the perfect place to study and live! (DU Tianlong)

I also wanted to have a holiday! I started looking on the internet and luckily I found Nice, a city rich with culture, history, plenty of museums to choose from and belle époque architecture. I gradually fell in love with the Alliance Française de Nice.

With tropical temperatures, a beautiful beach where you can practice sports such as running and cycling by the sea. And I haven’t yet mentioned food. Mmmm… the food, a mix of French, Mediterranean, Italian and alpine cuisines. You can sample breads, soups, starters, cold meats, pasta, fish, meat and cheese. And with cheese, you always need wine – the local Bellet wineries, only 5 kms away from the Old town of Nice. (Carlo CANNAVACCIULO Junior).
