Location: AFN, 2 rue de Paris

Timetable: Tuesday, 6pm ▶︎▶︎ 8pm (2 hours/week – opening of the course under certain conditions)

Beginning of the class: every Monday (please check courses’ calendar). You can join the class every Monday.

Duration of the course: two weeks minimum.

Registration fees: 50 Euros / year

Capacity: 18 students maximum per class

Age: starting from 18 years old (or 16 years old with parental consent)

Proficiency level: A2 speaking level minimum

Goals: 1) Increasing your knowledge about Francophone cultures and going beyond stereotypes. 2) Discovering or rediscovering Nice and the French Riviera local culture. 3) Getting a better understanding of French contemporary society. 4) Knowing and being able to distinguish cultural differences.

Materials and learning activities: The course materials (paper, audio, video) will be provided by the teacher. Activities in class will vary: listening and reading exercises, conversations and speaking, cultural quiz, etc… Activities will be organized both in groups and individually.

When registering to this course, you will gain free access to the Resource Center of the AF de Nice, including movies, music, books and magazines/newspapers. You will also be able to join our event schedule (movie club, city tours, conversation groups, and so on…) Some activities are not included, please check our monthly calendar for more information.

An official certificate can be issued.
